What is unchose?

What does unchose mean?

Unchose is slang for single, opposed to one who is chose, or in a relationship.

Don’t you mean unchosen?

Sure don’t.

But unchose isn’t even a word. Why would you call it unchose?

Does it have to be a word? That’s irrelevant. The demographic this is targeted to knows what unchose means. Simply put, this is for the young, unmarried Black woman. We don’t view unchose as a derogatory term but want the term to catch your attention (and I guess that worked if you’re reading this.) The intention is to change the definition of the demographic and remove the negative stigma.

Can guys write for unchose?

No. The basic qualifications for contributors require that they must be women, sorry.

I’m white. Can I write for unchose?

No, sorry again. All contributors must be Black.

Why are you excluding the rest of the unmarried population?

Because how many times do you see something solely for young, Black women that is completely positive? We’re the demographic that’s always pitied or belittled. However, a lot of the content can apply to anyone.

Why didn’t you turn this into a parody site/account?

There are a lot of parody accounts out there. Do we really need another one?
