If you have big calves like I do, you know the sinking feeling of seeing a nice pair of boots in store only to try them on and they barely slide past your ankle. The guys like them though, right? The gift and the curse for real. However, there is hope. We don’t need to feel enslaved to the world of booties and booties alone. Boots do exist for us girls with big calves. The boots below are sure to make your legs feel #chose.

Steve Madden’s Carrter Riding Boot

This riding boot is perfect for casual Fridays in the office and date nights with the #him. The calf circumference for this leather beauty is 14″, so there is a chance it may or may not fit. But for about $133.97, it’s worth the try.

Minnetonka’s Front Lace Knee-High Boot

If you’re into the Native American-esque flair that is in, this is the boot for you. The calf area adjusts for us well-endowed girls. And it’s only $90 for an all-suede boot. What a bargain!

Carlos by Carlos Santana Women’s Hanna Western Wide Calf Boot

You a bad girl and your boots bad too. Or something like that. Anyway, this Daughters of Anarchy-type boot might run you about $110, but is worth the extra leg room.

Nine West Women’s Noriko Suede Riding Boot

This leather boot was made for those winter maxi dresses in the coldest temperatures of the season. Nine West normally caters to the wide calved women of the world and this boot is a testament to that. For $159.99 and one of the two colors of your choice, this boot could be yours.

Madden Girl Women’s Lilith Motorcycle Boot

You could rip and run through these streets in this boot, which will run you less than $100 (possibly less than $60, depending.) Throw on a cute long sweater, a pair of leggings, and a crossbody and you automatically have your weekend ‘fit.

Jessica Simpson Women’s Audrey Slouch Boot

Is it safe to assume that every girl loves a good, tall boot on a heel? No? I’m going to figure as much anyway. This Jessica Simpson boot confirms that. For anywhere between under $100 to over $215, this boot could be well worth the investment.

So my fellow big calved friends, let’s embrace the cooler temperatures together. Do not pass up the opportunity to find and wear a cute boot for the girls. Good luck!

    1. Same here! We shouldn’t have to deal with this. I’m noticing more brands are including wide calf versions of their boots. I guess we aren’t the only ones.
